How to verify the integrity of my translation?

The best way to verify the validity of your translation is to check the translator’s credentials on the website of the entity that certifies the translator. You can find this information at the bottom of your translation, along with the signature and seal, in addition to the translation agency’s contact details.

Certified translations

In the case of translators registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, you can check their certification using their first and last names on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website through the "Translator Consultation" section.

NAATI translations

For translators certified by the NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters / National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters), you can check the validity of your translator credential through that entity's website. Just enter the translator ID in the "Verify a NAATI Certification" section.
